The 'Cloud Forest' regards Dongyanshan as an ecological museum in its entirety, integrating the natural resources within the region as the museum's main content. The thematic content will be developed in various forms to explore different aspects, visualizing various information.

Taiwan's cloud forest, a terrestrial ecosystem, benefits from its unique location where air currents converge, creating diverse climates. High mountains intercept moisture, forming clouds and mist between 1,800 to 2,500 meters above sea level. This environment fosters rich biodiversity in Taiwan's mid to high-altitude forests.
Taiwan's cloud forests host diverse flora and fauna. Their canopy layer and epiphytic plants intercept rainfall, crucial for the forest's water cycle. With stable temperatures and unique conditions, these forests support species with complex needs, resulting in precious mountain cloud forests across Taiwan's varied landscapes.
霧林帶為台灣的陸域生態系之一，由於台灣處於東北季風與西南氣流的交會，又居於海洋型氣候與大陸型氣候的過度，上層空氣的不穩定加上平地與高山海拔落差大，而高山攔截沿海地區所帶來的濕潤水氣，隨著坡度的上升與氣溫的下降，在海拔1800公尺到2500公尺的區間形成雲霧，因此台灣的中高海拔森林成為擁有特殊豐富生態的霧林帶。
霧林帶除了蘊含多樣的動植物，因為此區域的樹冠層以及附著其上的苔癬等植物可以攔截大量的降水，對於森林的水文循環也有十分重要的幫助，霧林帶內部的年平均日溫差僅有3.87度，由於穩定的氣候條件，使生長條件較為複雜的物種可以於此發展，台灣也得利於特殊的位置和合適的環境，根據各個山區不同的生態內容產生了珍貴且特別的山地霧林。

About Us
近年來隨著環境保育意識的崛起，各類生態遭遇的危機以及永續項目的長期發展也開始備受重視，藉此做為發想契機，發現台灣因為特殊的地理和氣候產生名為「霧林帶」的特殊生態，研究過後除了發覺其環境所包含的物種十分多樣且具有特色，同時深入認識並了解它所面臨的環境問題，因此希望藉由專題當中的各項設計，透過山林品牌以及多樣客群推廣陸地生態的保育概念，強化人與土地的連結。
With the growing awareness of environmental conservation, there's increased attention to ecological crises and sustainable initiatives. Taiwan's unique "cloud forest" ecosystem, shaped by its geography and climate, offers a rich diversity of species but also faces environmental challenges. Through this project's designs and a mountain forest brand, the aim is to promote land ecology conservation and strengthen the bond between people and the land.

台灣本土的生態保育長期以來一直是需要大眾關注的議題，以此做為起點，我們藉由資料蒐集認識了關於霧林帶的各項內容，了解其現況、合適的研究地點以及所受到的影響等等，希望藉由專題的設計內容，展現這個生態的美妙之處，同時針對不同念齡層推廣環境教育和保育觀念。
We began by addressing Taiwan's ecosystem conservation, gathering data on the cloud forest's status, research sites, and challenges. Our project aims to highlight its beauty and promote environmental awareness and conservation through design for all age groups.

Introduction to brand architecture
霧林帶秉持永續循環以及生態保育的核心概念，將設計產品融入多元教育意涵，在這個階段為您分析整體循環架構、體驗產品製作步驟、包裝結構分析等內容。
Cloud Forest adheres to the core concepts of sustainable recycling and ecological conservation, and integrates design products into multiple educational connotations. At this stage, we will analyze the overall recycling structure, experience product production steps, packaging structure analysis, etc. for you.
將簡化外觀的物種形象搭配柔和鮮豔的色彩，同時將多樣的霧林帶資訊圖表設計結合在產品包裝以及出版品內容，呈現直觀易懂的動植物特點，例如食性、棲地、生長海拔等等，並且藉由童趣的插畫風格拉近觀者與山林的距離。
Simplified species illustrations with soft, vibrant colors, paired with cloud forest information charts in product packaging and publications. Intuitively presenting characteristics like diet and habitat, using a playful illustration style to connect viewers with the forest.

癒見森林 循環廢木精油禮盒
Recycled Wood Essential Oil Gift Box
藉由東眼山的杉木林獨具特色的自然香氣化作自然精油，讓使用者享受森林療癒的效果，並且將廢棄的木頭重製成擴香器，倡導資源的循環利用，使永續發展的概念融入到產品以及使用者的生活當中。
We harness the unique natural fragrance of cedarwood from Dongyanshan forests to create natural essential oils, offering users the benefits of forest therapy Also recycle wood into diffusers, promoting resource sustainability in our products and users' lives.
霧林典藏 生態物種磁鐵套組
Magnet Set Cloud Forest Collection
透過磁鐵套組，以書本形式展現多樣物種。每個磁鐵都以獨特的形狀呈現不同的生物，讓使用者發現東眼山的生態之美。另外每個磁鐵都擁有AR動畫，讓使用者可以便捷了解物種生態習性和特點。
Using a magnetic set, we present various species in book format. Each magnet represents a unique organism shape, allowing exploration of Mount Dongyan's ecology. Additionally, AR animations provide easy understanding of species' traits.

Supplementary Dongyanshan Guide Companion
將東眼山霧林帶的特色動植物進行資訊搜集，將各個物種科屬分門別類，並且透過插畫搭配圖表設計，包含地理分布、海拔高度以及外型介紹等等，為不同年齡的觀者建立親切易讀的生態概念。
Gather info on Mount Dongyanshan cloud forest flora, categorize species, use illustrations and charts to detail distribution, altitude range, and physical traits, creating an easily understandable ecological concept for all ages.

以東眼山作為主要的研究地點，介紹內部完整的霧林生態，並且藉由此專題讓大眾了解台灣所擁有的珍貴霧林生態系以及它所面臨的問題，進而促進霧林保育。

隨著時間過去，氣候變遷導致的後果不單是數據變化，更是深刻影響腳下所踩的土地，而最根本的原因便是人類群體進行各項行為所造成的資源損耗以及破壞。此設計希望藉由獨特的陸域生態「霧林帶」作為出發點進行深入探索，將資訊轉化為永續產品，為不同年齡層的使用者帶來屬於霧林帶美好的體驗，同時藉由設計內容建立保育觀念是則是最為主要的目標，讓觀者了解環境需要透過重視和保護才能達到協調狀態，提倡生態永續的重要性。
As time passes, climate change profoundly affects the land we tread upon due to human activities. This design explores the unique cloud forest ecosystem, converting information into sustainable products to provide users of all ages with a delightful experience. The primary goal is to instill conservation concepts and advocate for ecological sustainability.
